This transformation took place in Jamestown,RI. The existing granite was disassmebled and reused on-site,while the brick work was torn out and replaced with stone.
A Goshen Stone was chosen for it’s color & texture creating a Nantucket style feel and appearance. The stone work was installed using extremenly tight joints making an appearance of a no mortar look. This techniques enhances the natural beauty of the stone drawing ones attention to all the stones.
One beautiful feature of this job was the use of Black Cambrian Granite as the border & tread elements. The black color of the granite with it’s natural flecks complemented the natural grain of the Goshen Stone. By combining both these features of each stone we were able to create a unique & truly beautiful element to this walkway.
